Visa de turista

Antes de sacar su cita, agradeceremos que verifique el Consulado peruano de su jurisdicción. La jurisdicción consular del Consulado General del Perú en Los Ángeles son condados de IMPERIAL, KERN, LOS ANGELES, ORANGE, RIVERSIDE, SAN BERNARDINO, SAN DIEGO, SAN LUIS OBISPO, SANTA BÁRBARA y VENTURA en el estado de California.

Si usted reside en otros condados del estado de California y el estado de Nevada, contactarse con el Consulado General del Perú en San Francisco.

Si usted reside en el estado de Utah, contactarse con el Consulado General del Perú en Denver.

Si usted reside en el estado de Arizona, escribir al correo electrónico consulperu-phoenix@rree.gob.pe 

Para solicitar una visa de turista usted necesita sacar cita para pasar una entrevista y dejar en el consulado todos los documentos que se requieren para su evaluación. Asimismo, debe de adjuntar en el sistema TODOS los requisitos al momento de sacar su cita, de lo contrario su cita será cancelada.

Debe de sacar su cita con por lo menos dos días HÁBILES de anticipación. De lo contrario su cita se asumirá como cancelada.

Nuestro horario de atención es de lunes a viernes de 8:00 am a 1:00 pm en la dirección 3450 Wilshire Boulevard Suite 800 Los Angeles CA 90010.

La visa de turista se otorga a ciudadanos extranjeros que requieran visa según su país de origen que deseen visitar el Perú con fines de recreación o similares. Esta calidad migratoria no admite el propósito de inmigración, residencia permanente o desarrollo de actividades remuneradas.

Requisitos

• Requisito 1: Llenar el formulario DGC005 (http://www.consulado.pe/Documents/visas/formulario_solicitud_visa.pdf) El formulario debe de estar TOTALMENTE lleno, estar firmado (no se aceptan firmas digitales) y tener la huella del solicitante.
• Requisito 2: Presentar pasaporte vigente (debe tener una vigencia mayor a 6 meses. Si en la fecha del viaje su pasaporte tiene una vigencia menor no podrá tramitar una visa).
• Requisito 3: Demostrar su residencia legal y permanente en los Estados Unidos a través de la presentación de un Green Card Vigente, o Visa de los Estados Unidos distinta a la de turista. Para este propósito no se aceptan “Work permits”.
• Requisito 4: Pasaje de Ida y Vuelta al Perú (Boleto, ticket electrónico o reserva).
• Requisito 5: Reserva de Hotel. Si en vez de permanecer en un hotel se alojará en casa de algún familiar o amigo debe obligatoriamente presentar una Carta de invitación (copia original en formato pdf, no se aceptan firmas electrónicas). Debe de incluir además los datos de contacto de la persona que aloja (número de DNI, nombre completo, dirección y número telefónico) y una copia del DNI.
• Requisito 6: Entregar Una (1) fotografía tamaño pasaporte a colores y fondo blanco. El rostro debe de estar COMPLETAMENTE descubierto y no debe de mostrar los dientes.
• Requisito 7: Demostrar solvencia económica presentando los 3 últimos estados de cuenta bancaria original. 
• Requisito 8: Prueba de residencia en la jurisdicción de este Consulado (licencia de conducir o ID).
• Requisito 9: Pagar US $30.00 dólares efectivo cambio exacto o Money Order a nombre de “Consulate of Peru”. También puede pagar con tarjeta de débito o crédito con un cargo financiero adicional.

Información importante:

• La solicitud de visa es PERSONAL para mayores de 18 años. No se aceptarán solicitudes realizadas a nombre de otra persona mayor de edad (ejemplo: cónyuge peruano solicitando visa para el cónyuge extranjero).
• La presentación de la solicitud de visa NO garantiza la aprobación de esta. Cada solicitud es individualmente evaluada por el Cónsul peruano.
• Toda visa peruana expira, si no es usada, en un periodo de seis (6) meses desde el momento de su emisión.
• Durante la tramitación de la solicitud, puede requerirse la presentación de requisitos adicionales.
• Los ciudadanos estadounidenses no necesitan visa de turista siempre y cuando su pasaporte cuente con más de seis (6) meses de vigencia al momento de ingresar al Perú.

Tourist visa

The consular jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Peru in Los Angeles are IMPERIAL, KERN, LOS ANGELES, ORANGE, RIVERSIDE, SAN BERNARDINO, SAN DIEGO, SAN LUIS OBISPO, SANTA BARBARA and VENTURA counties in the state of California.

If you live in other counties of the state of California and the state of Nevada, contact the General Consulate of Peru in San Francisco.

If you live in the state of Utah, contact the General Consulate of Peru in Denver.

To apply for a tourist visa you need to make an appointment to pass an interview and leave all the documents required for evaluation at the consulate. Likewise, you must attach ALL the requirements to the system at the time of making your appointment, otherwise, your appointment will be cancelled.

You must make your appointment at least two BUSINESS days in advance. Otherwise, your appointment will be considered as cancelled.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 3450 Wilshire Boulevard Suite 800 Los Angeles CA 90010.

The tourist visa is granted to foreign citizens who require a visa according to their country of origin who wish to visit Peru for recreation or similar purposes. This immigration status does not admit the purpose of immigration, permanent residence or development of paid activities.

Requirements

• Requirement 1: Fill out form DGC005 (http://www.consulado.pe/Documents/visas/formulario_solicitud_visa.pdf) The form must be COMPLETELY filled out, signed (digital signatures are not accepted) and have the applicant's index fingerprint.
• Requirement 2: Present a valid passport (it must be valid for more than 6 months. If your passport is less valid than six months on the date of travel, you will not be able to process a visa).
• Requirement 3: Demonstrate your legal and permanent residence in the United States by presenting a valid Green Card, or a United States Visa other than a tourist one. For this purpose, Work Permits are not accepted.
• Requirement 4: Round trip ticket to Peru (Ticket, electronic ticket or reservation).
• Requirement 5: Hotel reservation. If, instead of staying in a hotel, you are staying at the home of a relative or friend, you must submit a Letter of invitation (original copy in pdf format, electronic signatures are not accepted). It must also include the contact information of the person hosting (DNI number, full name, address and telephone number) and a copy of the DNI.
• Requirement 6: Submit One (1) color passport size photograph with a white background. The face must be COMPLETELY uncovered and must not show teeth.
• Requirement 7: Demonstrate economic solvency by presenting the last 3 original bank account statements.
• Requirement 8: Proof of residence in the jurisdiction of this Consulate (driver's license or ID).
• Requirement 9: Pay US $30.00 cash exact change or Money Order in the name of "Consulate of Peru”. You can also pay by debit or credit card with an extra payment of 2.45%.

Important information:

• The visa application is PERSONAL for people over 18 years of age. Applications made in the name of another person of legal age will not be accepted (example: Peruvian spouse requesting a visa for the foreign spouse).
• The presentation of the visa application does NOT guarantee its approval. Each application is individually evaluated by the Peruvian Consul.
• All Peruvian visa expires, if not used, in a period of six (6) months from the moment of its issuance.
• During the processing of the application, the presentation of additional requirements may be required.
• US citizens do not need a tourist visa as long as their passport is valid for more than six (6) months at the time of entering Peru.

Los ciudadanos extranjeros que deseen realizar negocios en el Perú, deben obtener una visa de negocios, a menos que el país de origen del ciudadano tenga un acuerdo con el estado peruano que permita viajar al Perú sin una visa de negocios para este propósito. Esta Visa es obligatoria para todo aquel que vaya a celebrar un contrato.

Requisitos

• Requisito 5: Carta de la empresa estadounidense, especificando el objeto de la visita, tiempo de duración de la misma, y que se cuenta con respaldo económico suficiente para sufragar todos los gastos durante la estadía en el Perú.
• Requisito 6: Carta de la empresa peruana, cuando el viaje esté ligado a una contraparte nacional específica, señalando el motivo y plazo del mismo, y que cuenta con respaldo económico suficiente para sufragar sus gastos.
• Requisito 7: Una (1) fotografía tamaño pasaporte a colores y fondo blanco. El rostro debe de estar COMPLETAMENTE descubierto y no debe de mostrar los dientes.
• Requisito 8: Copia de la licencia de conducir estadounidense.

Business visa

Foreign citizens wishing to conduct business in Peru must obtain a business visa, unless the citizen's country of origin has an agreement with the Peruvian state that allows to travel to Peru without a business visa for this purpose. This visa is mandatory for everyone who will sign a contract.

• Requirement 4: Round trip ticket to Peru (Ticket, electronic ticket or reservation).
• Requirement 5: Letter from the US company, specifying the purpose of the visit, its duration, and that there is sufficient financial support to cover all expenses during the stay in Peru.
• Requirement 6: Letter from the Peruvian company, when the trip is linked to a specific national counterpart, indicating the reason and term of the trip, and that it has sufficient financial support to cover its expenses.
• Requirement 7: Submit One (1) color passport size photograph with a white background. The face must be COMPLETELY uncovered and must not show teeth
• Requirement 8: Copy of US driver's license.
• Requirement 9: Pay US $30.00 cash, exact change or Money Order in the name of "Consulate of Peru". You can also pay by debit or credit card with an extra payment of 2.45%.
